Meet Our Team
Felton Anderson, MD, is a physician, cardiologist, and experienced clinical researcher who serves as Principal Investigator at Anderson Medical Research, LLC. With decades of experience in internal medicine and cardiovascular medicine, Dr. Anderson brings extensive clinical expertise and a strong commitment to advancing innovative therapies through high-quality clinical research.
Dr. Anderson earned his medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Howard University Hospital, where he also served as Chief Resident. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Cardiology at Howard University Hospital.
Since 2016, Dr. Anderson has served as Principal Investigator at Anderson Medical Research, leading Phase II and Phase III clinical trials across cardiovascular, metabolic, and kidney-related disease states. His research experience includes major clinical development programs evaluating novel therapies for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, elevated lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)], dyslipidemia, heart failure, hypertension, obesity, diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and cardiovascular event prevention.
A particular focus of Dr. Anderson’s research has been improving cardiovascular outcomes in populations that have historically been underrepresented in clinical research. His experience includes leading a multicenter clinical trial specifically evaluating Lp(a)-lowering therapy in Black/African American and Hispanic patients with elevated Lp(a) and established atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
In addition to his research work, Dr. Anderson has maintained an active medical practice since 1998 and has presented on topics including coronary artery disease detection, diabetes, heart failure, cardiovascular risk factors, and community health.
Through his leadership at Anderson Medical Research, Dr. Anderson is committed to combining clinical excellence, scientific rigor, patient-centered care, and greater diversity in clinical trial participation. His goal is to ensure that advances in medicine are studied in and ultimately benefit the diverse communities affected by cardiovascular and cardiometabolic disease.

Ann-Marie Cobb, MS, PA-C, is an experienced Physician Assistant and clinical research professional with nearly two decades of involvement in clinical trials. Her research experience spans cardiovascular disease, hypertension, heart failure, lipid disorders, obesity, diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and cardiometabolic medicine.
Since 2016, Ann-Marie has served as a Sub-Investigator and Study Coordinator with Anderson Medical Research, where she plays an integral role in the conduct of industry-sponsored clinical trials. Her experience includes Phase 2 and Phase 3 randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter studies, including large cardiovascular outcomes trials and studies evaluating emerging therapies for elevated lipoprotein(a), atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, heart failure, hypertension, and metabolic disease.
In addition to her research background, Ann-Marie brings extensive clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, allowing her to integrate direct patient-care expertise with the rigorous requirements of clinical trial conduct. This combination provides a strong foundation for patient assessment, protocol implementation, participant safety, study coordination, and collaboration with investigators, sponsors, and clinical research teams.
Ann-Marie holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and is a Certified Physician Assistant licensed in Maryland. Her professional training includes Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Human Subjects Protection, IATA Dangerous Goods, and clinical research coordinator certification through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
Lian Glorioso is an Assistant Research Coordinator with approximately 1.5 years of experience. She supports the successful execution of clinical research trials by adhering to study protocols and safety standards, interacting and assisting patients throughout their study participation, serving as the designated unblinded pharmacist for select studies, ensuring a timely and accurate data entry for each patient visits, and by managing the processing procedures and shipping of laboratory samples to the appropriate testing facilities. She is continuously committed to patient-centered care and supporting the integrity and success of clinical trials.
